Milind Kothare is an independently practicing management consultant
since 2000 prior to which he has worked with various hotels like Ramada Palm Grove,
Centaur, Oberoi Group of Hotels & Sarovar in various capacities from Internal auditor,
Credit control, Unit Finance Head from 1983-2000.
He has set hospitality start up companies like Magarpatta Clubs & Resorts (Prestigious four hundred acres township near Pune) in the capacity of consulting project co-ordinator.
After setting up various hotel & restaurant projects in India & overseas, he has focused his practice on Business Advisory & Revenue Management since 2008.
In his business advisory initiative he has worked closely with Fidalgo group in successfully achieving persistent revenue growth since year 2008-09 . He is also on their advisory board to work on their groups expansion plan wherein they have now expanded from single unit in Goa to a second unit in Hyderabad & project under construction in Pune.
He has also been working closely with Centurion Hotel in Pune to see their top line & profitability growing in last one year.
He has conducted workshops for members of AHAR- a body of restaurant owners in Mumbai on "How to Improve Profitability in Restaurant in Diverse Conditions".
He is now in the process of setting a Revenue Management Institute in Mumbai. He has conceptualized hospitality related workshops & has contributed articles to hospitality trade magazines in past.
He is currently advising Eco Sense Pvt. Ltd. (company backed by research from ICT, Mumbai manufacturing eco-friendly bulk cooking appliances) to set up their Pan India marketing network. Eco Sense is an offshoot of 125 crore auto ancillary company.
